A window separating the two worlds of reality and dreams. Inside the window is the world of reality. Books and test papers piled high up on the desk in front of a girl and some even flying above her. This is to symbolize her wishes to be able to leave behind all the pressure she has from her studies. Outside of the window represents the girls dreamland. She wants to visit many beautiful places, to be close to nature, and to play in the playground. However, the artist can only dream of going to these places through an imagery picture. The artist wants to tell people how much pressure she has from her studies as a junior high school student. This picture was not presented based on the artist memory of the past but on an imagery picture of her dreamland. It is done in a form of surrealism and through reflecting on her emotions. As a result it created a contrast of images and enriched the visual effects. We see from the picture that the artist has mastered a number of skills including coordination of contrasted images, balance of brightness and darkness of colors, and extension of the sense of space. This piece of artwork is a good example to demonstrate the success of the learning theory in art education at junior high school level.
