This artwork was created to capture the artist's feeling of nerves and the speed at the moment when the roller coaster came down from the top. He built up elements of his drawing from the moment that the roller coaster started to come down from the top.
In this picture, we can see there are more than one sun and moon as well as many blue lines in the sky. This is obviously not the ordinary setting in life. Perhaps Zijin was trying to demonstrate the length of time that he spent in the playground, but it was certain that these images were shown for a special reason.
It is important that children can draw with freedom to reflect on their feelings and thinking in their pictures. As a teacher or guide to them, it is very crucial for us to ensure that children can create their artwork with freedom, confidence and trust and are allowed to happily express their thinking and feelings in their creation.
