《城西生景》特展
在清代於台北城建立東、西、南、北城門，城牆相連保衛地域，也是當時通商往來的重要出入口，而位於台北城西側的剝皮寮承載百年人們的生活光景，這裡是常民生活的聚集地、商圈運輸的重要樞紐、也是旅客駐足停留的休憩場所，直至今日街區的一磚一瓦依稀可見當時的生活樣貌，漫步百年街廓回味臺北城的生活光景。

Reminiscing and tracing out the life of the old western Taipei City

Taipei was once a walled city where five gates, East, West, South, Little South and North gate were established in Qying dynasty. These gates were connected by walls which standed between enclaves and functioned as protection and main openings for commute and trade. Bopiliao, situated in the west side of Taipei City, has been a densely inhabited area for hundreds of years. It was one of the main commercial centers and a favorite choice of accommodation for travellers. To this day, the look of life once existed in this place can be easily found in every brick and tile. We can taste the unique scent of the past in the air while strolling down the historical streets.
