繪本，或稱之為「圖畫書」（picture book），一種講究圖像語言的說故事題材，不但是人類視覺藝術的啟蒙，也是兒童身心發展不可或缺的閱讀媒介。
「夢境漫遊：繪本藝術展」以夢為起始、神祕洞穴為入口，依作品內涵分成「晚安屋」、「夢境房」二大展區，匯集臺灣、法國、日本、美國的繪本創作，以科技互動策展方式打開孩子們感官想像，藉由影像、聲音與視覺，感受繪本的奇幻、奧妙，同時講述現今世代下繪本視覺教育樣態的多樣性。
Picture book is a book format combining visual and verbal narrative. It is not only the enlightenment of visual art, but also an indispensable reading material of the physical and mental development during childhood.
Wandering in the Dream starts from the dream and mystery cave, including two sections – Goodnight room and Dreamland Room. Presented in the way of interactive technology and installation, with the cooperation of the picture book authors from Taiwan, France, Japan, and America.
The exhibition aimed at exploring children’s imaginary world by the interactive art of various images, narrations, and visual effects. We would also like to show you the diversity of visual arts education in picture books nowadays.
